Bronze Gnomon

This unusual bronze gnomon had been snapped off its stone base and was in need of attention. The two bronze sections were welded back together then the whole piece cleaned and treated for corrosion. It was then given a protective coat of hot wax and buffed before being re-set in its rightful place.
